Who we are

People’s Welfare Foundation started its journey from Kaitra of Laksam upazila under the Comilla district in 2004. The first and foremost influence of the organization that brought about the idea of change through financial support is now a milestone initiative. The foundation brought out its microfinancing activities with the most profound concern for the need for radical changes in the socio-economic scenarios of the weaker section of people in the area. Passing with glorious 20 years results from challenges, relentless efforts, and dedication of employees and our valued community of all corners.

Bangladesh NGO Foundation plays a vital role in making the dream of the Peoples Welfare Foundation come true. The NGO Foundation was already funded to implement and achieve its initial targets on sewing projects, sanitation, pure drinking water supply, goat rearing, and tree plantation, which went smoothly.

Many NGO experts now manage the People’s Welfare Foundation; social elite groups developed its work plan department and enacting policies, systems, and approaches for good governance and internal control with standards.

At present, more than 80% of our programs and projects are financed by own funds, service charges from the loan, member savings, Midland Bank Ltd., Mercantile Bank Ltd., Pubali Bank Ltd., MIDAS Financing Ltd., Mac Foundation. and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
